Allora College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training across multiple disciplines such as Child Care, Aged Care and Automotive.
We are currently seeking an experienced trainer and assessor who can train and assess the following qualifications on site at our East Brisbane Campus:
CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Essential criteria:
Experienced Training and assessor being able to confidently conduct classes/theory sessions, workplace visits and assess within company expectations and timelines.
CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40122 (or equivalent)
Current experience in the childcare industry
Current experience in the vocational education and training sector
Current driver’s license and Working with Children Check (BlueCard)
Ability to travel and conduct regular placement visits/visits to workplace-based trainees.
Criteria for success:
Demonstrated experience in delivering childcare courses to students in a classroom environment (minimum 3 years of experience preferred)
Extensive and recent industry experience including current engagement in the childcare industry (minimum 3 years of experience preferred)
Comprehensive understanding of the CHC training package, including units of competency requirements for CHC30121 and CHC50121
Demonstrated ability to provide individual support to students including advice on support services and programs and implementation of learner support strategies that will lead to successful completion of training
Technical competency in using student/learning management systems (aXcelerate preferred) and MS Office suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a friendly disposition
A strong work ethic and can-do attitude
Inter-cultural awareness and adaptability
Commitment to embracing feedback and continuous improvement, including validation and moderation activities
Track record of meeting KPI's, including student progress targets
High level organisation and time management skills, including the ability to multitask
Ability to work independently and also as part of a team, including collaborating with other staff (faculty and administration)
Demonstrated understanding of Standards for Registered Training Organisation (SRTOs 2015) and understanding of the VET Quality Framework.
Experience working with a Skills Assure Supplier (or equivalent) highly regarded
Understanding of the ESOS Framework highly regarded but not essential.
