Experis has been engaged by our client seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Consultant for a 12-month contract with potential extensions, starting in the next financial year. The role will support various ICT projects, including AI and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse, design, and implement business solutions in an Agile environment.

Engage stakeholders and document business and technical requirements.

Model current and future business processes and information management environments.

Perform data analysis and evaluate user pathways and information flows.

Develop detailed documentation, including business requirement specifications, user stories, process maps, business cases, and service design artefacts.

Collaborate with technical specialists to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Evaluate solution options and translate business needs into technical and functional requirements, considering strategic impacts across the department and government.

Work within an Agile framework to create requirements for complex IT systems, including website development.

The Successful candidate will have demonstrated in previous roles:

Experience working on complex digital projects within an Agile framework.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with Information Technology Services and documenting Office technology requirements is desirable.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps for user story creation and tracking acceptance criteria is a plus.

Knowledge or experience in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform is highly regarded.

• Extensive experience in facilitating workshops, developing business scenarios, process maps, data models, and use cases.
• Strong background in creating User Stories and acceptance criteria for developers.
