We have been a family owned, independent jewellery business since 1992. We have stores in Horsham, Naracoorte, Port Fairy and Warrnambool. Being part of the local community and providing exceptional products and service to our new and loyal customers is important to us.

Our Stock Controller is perfect for someone with great organisational and communication skills.

You will be turning over and replenishing stock between each store. This includes working alongside managers to ensure all stock in the business is succinct and the quality of all products are achieved to a high standard.

You will be purchasing inventory within budget (as well as helping the creation of the inventory budget) and work with invoicing and vendors almost everyday and will keep the inventory software system up to date. With this, you will have the freedom and autonomy to create reports or feedback for the business from stocktake and other inventory findings such as ideas about how to improve productivity and efficiency in terms of stock storage, organisation and display.

The role will consist mainly of deadlines and so you must be able to work in an environment as such.

It is acknowledged and appreciated where you show enjoyment from being creative and having an eye for design (after all, we are in the fashion industry!).

These are majority of the main daily/monthly tasks you will be performing:

• Stock take (monthly)
• Ensure par list is up-to-date for each store (monthly)
• Merchandising and ensuring display of cabinets are on brand (monthly)
• Stock turn over between stores (monthly)
• Price: new stock that comes in, stock that needs repricing (daily)
• Ordering: stock for retail purchase, par list stock and stock for customers (daily)
