The Role: We are looking to hire a part time support service employee to join our housekeeping team in our Daceyville facility. You will be working Monday, Thursday and Friday (36 hours per fortnight)
As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to:
Wet dust all picture frames and wall ornaments.
Wet wipe and sanitize all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches.
Wipe over all lights in front foyer, lounge, activities room, and at the entrance.
Scrub all wall and floor tiles in all bathrooms.
Vacuum all carpets including edges.
Prepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicals
Make beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessary
Requirements
Previous experience essential!
Genuine compassion, commitment and enthusiasm
Ability to work well in a team
Empathy towards the elderly and respectful of their needs
Experience as a Maintenance Person in Aged Care or similar industry is desirable
Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 & influenza vaccinations
