Rose Gums Wilderness Retreat, an award winning, boutique, Eco-Resort on the Southern Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland is looking for a Casual Housekeeper.

The successful applicant will be a mature, reliable self-starter and able to work unsupervised. Housekeeping at Rose Gums is of an extremely high standard, so an eye for detail and good time management are essential.

Hours of work are normally between 8.30am and 2.30pm and the roster is dependent on occupancy. Shifts can range from one or two a week in quiet times to a five day week in high season, and the hourly rate is above award.

On-site accommodation is not available for this position and given that Rose Gums is a 20 minute drive from either Malanda or Yungaburra the successful candidate will need a reliable car. It is expected that this role would suit somebody living on the Southern Atherton Tablelands and available to start in the short term.

Working Visa holders are also encouraged to apply and accommodation is available at Yungaburra 20 minutes away. Working at Rose Gums qualifies for the 88 day Visa extension.
