Macro Auto Services is a trusted and well-established workshop in Mitcham with a solid reputation. We're looking for a Qualified Motor Mechanic with 8-10 years of hands-on experience to join our team.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles, mainly cars and light commercials.
The work is steady, hands-on, and varied.

Key responsibilities:

Perform full vehicle inspections and diagnostics

Carry out logbook services, brake repairs, and suspension work

Handle major and minor mechanical repairs and general maintenance

Communicate clearly with the team and customers

Maintain accurate job records and part usage

Keep a clean, safe, and organised work area

Contribute to a positive and efficient team workflow

Who we are looking for?

We’re after someone experienced, reliable, and easy to get along with — someone who works well in a team and brings a can-do attitude to the job.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)

A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in a workshop environment

Solid knowledge of servicing, brakes, suspension, and diagnostics

Great problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills

A manual driver’s licence

Full Australian working rights

Experience leading a small team would be great too
