About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Statewide Workforce as a Rigger on the Fremantle traffic bridge upgrade. This is a short term casual role initially, but has potential to be extended for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

Safely rig, lift, move and position heavy equipment and materials on construction sites

Inspect, maintain and operate rigging equipment such as Soft slings, wire slings and chains

Communicate with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe and efficient load movements

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and others on site

Perform general labouring duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Rigger or in a similar construction role

Demonstrated knowledge of rigging equipment, techniques, and safety protocols

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / lift studies

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to working safely and following all site procedures

A current construction industry White Card and relevant licences/certifications/Voc's for Rigging

Available to work 10hrs Mon - Fri and Saturdays 8hrs
