Emission Assessments Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate Graduate Chemist or Graduate Environmental Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bibra Lake, Western Australia.
This full-time role offers an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with the opportunity to contribute to crucial environmental projects and develop your career in the field of environmental science.
The successful candidate will be involved in performing environmental air monitoring programs:
- Industry Stack Emission Testing
- Laboratory and Field Odour surveys
While starting your career with EAPL you will develop expertise in: environmental sampling, chemical reagent preparation, sample management and technical reporting. Your ability to develop professional relationship and liaise with clients will be advanced in this role.
Importantly, sharing ideas within a team that listens and respects individual contributions is promoted at EAPL.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Bachelor of Science.
- Ability to work in a safe, careful and methodical manner at height.
- An understanding of basic chemistry principles.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical procedures.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a small team.
- Valid Western Australian drivers license.
The following skills and experience would also be highly regarded:
- Prior knowledge in emissions to air monitoring.
- Confidence in learning new work practices such as isokinetic testing.
- Competency in Excel and Word.
