About the Role

We are seeking factory hands and team leaders to join our Keppel Brand production team. Based in Yeppoon, QLD we make crumbed and battered sausages and seafood products for our takeaway and convenience customers across Australia. This casual role offers a minimum of 20 hours per week.

What's involved in the role:

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe food handling methods in line with established food safety (HACCP) requirements.
• Take ownership of the production process.
• Accurately measuring, mixing and packing of the products.
• Operation of production equipment.
• Read and understand instructions and complete the appropriate paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be a valued member of an energetic, composed and hardworking team.

What's required:

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment desirable.
• Ability to adhere to OH&S, HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality principles.
• Ability to follow instructions in a production/process environment.
• Ability to perform physical duties – lifting up to 15kg.
• Attention to detail when undertaking daily cleaning tasks.
• Flexible days of work and start times.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
• Is dependable, a team player with good communication.
• High attention to detail.
• Good attitude and work ethic.
• Immediate start.
• Positive and mature attitude.
• Flexibility and a desire to get the job done.
