The Role

As a Relief Village Manager, you will oversee all aspects of village operations, catering, accommodation, and site services, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with contractual obligations. You will be responsible for:

Leading and motivating a team of Chefs, Bus Driver/Utilities, and Housekeeping staff

Ensuring high-quality food & Accommodation services

Managing budgets, financial reports, and compliance

Maintaining HSEQ & HR standards across the site

Providing hands-on support

Fostering a positive team culture and exceptional customer service

Rostering

Liaise and maintain strong rapport with Village Manager / Operations Manager and the Head Office on the status of the Village operations and other departments

Daily reporting on Pre-start meetings

Planning events

To be successful, you will have:

Essential

Must reside in Perth / Kalgoorlie, Western Australia

Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems

Minimum of 3 years industry/ trade experience as a Village Manager

Passionate with Foods

Strong skill with data and regular reporting

Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment for all employees.

Australian Citizen or full Australian working rights

A valid WA Drivers License

National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months of applying)

Able to pass a medical and drug screen

Food Safety / HACCP knowledge and certification

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Ability to obtain a WA Approved Manager's licence

White Card

Ability to complete manual handling tasks with a keen safety awareness.

Desired

Knowledge using Peoples Tray, Pronto and Xero software.

Forklift Licence (highly regarded)

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (highly regarded)

4WD Certificate

A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011- Provide First Aid)- within 3 years
