Samford Valley Steiner School (SVSS) is seeking a Primary School Teaching and Learning Coordinator to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the curriculum and supporting teachers in delivering a rich, creative Steiner/Waldorf education.

The Role

As the Teaching and Learning Coordinator, you will:

Oversee the development and delivery of a creative, engaging Steiner curriculum for Primary School.

Provide direct mentorship and professional development to teachers, ensuring alignment with Waldorf principles and encouraging growth.

Support student well-being through the implementation of individualised learning plans and collaboration with the Learning Enrichment Team.

Contribute to assessment, reporting, and documentation processes to ensure holistic student progress is captured meaningfully.

Engage with the school community, building positive relationships with teachers, students, and parents.

The candidate must also hold:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.

Teaching certification and registration, meeting the requirements of the Queensland College of Teachers.

A passion for Steiner educational philosophy and its principles.

Prior experience teaching in a Steiner or Waldorf school
