The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Service Technician with expertise in mobile cranes to join their team in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine maintenance checks on all sizes of mobile cranes
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting engine, transmission, and hydraulic issues
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
• Conduct advanced diagnostic works
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of work done
• Ensuring that all vehicles and cranes are in compliance with safety regulations
• Communicating effectively with team members and management regarding repair work and maintenance schedules

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Proven experience working as a Service Technician, ideally with mobile cranes
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to job sites
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with HSE guidelines
• Ability to interpret technical reports, work plans, and electronic documentation
• Willingness to work overtime or travel as required
