The Company
We are looking for experienced Assemblers to join a leading manufacturing company, based in Braeside, specialising in cooling units. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling commercial and industrial air-conditioning units and components. They will provide a clean, safe and modern work environment where you will receive the support and training to improve your existing skills.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Hand and power tool usage
- Assembly of industrial and commercial air conditioning units
- Reading layout drawings
- Electrical fitting and assembly
To be successful, you will need to have:
- Be familiar with plumbing / pipework
- Be physically fit for manual handling
- Experience in steel fabrication - desirable but not essential
- Brazing skills for copper pipework - highly regarded
- Forklift licence - beneficial
- Willingness to learn new skills and be part of an expanding team.
- Host employer medical including drug and alcohol testing may be required
- Must have own steel caps and orange hi-vis
Hours & Pay Rate:
Monday - Thursday 7.15am - 3.45pm Monday to Thursday, 7.15am - 1.45pm Friday
$32.25 per hour
