Pembroke is currently seeking a dedicated and professional School Administration Assistant to join our Administrative team.

The School
Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Renowned for academic excellence and a broad, inclusive program, Pembroke offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP).
The role
The successful candidate will provide a range of administrative and front-of-house support, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the School.
Key duties include:
Welcoming and assisting visitors, staff, students, and families at the JPS front desk
Managing incoming calls and responding to enquiries
Maintaining accurate student records and attendance data
Assisting with student attendance monitoring and follow-ups
Supporting event and excursion coordination
Maintaining school supplies and supporting procurement processes
Performing general administrative tasks including data entry, reporting, and document preparation
Supporting the School’s printing operations and courier deliveries
Ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures
What we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, and well-organised with:
Previous experience in administration, preferably in an educational setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g. Synergetic or similar)
A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
A collaborative and proactive approach to work
A genuine commitment to providing excellent service to all school stakeholders
Applicants must hold (or be willing to obtain) the following prior to commencement:
Working with Children Check (Department of Human Services)
RRHAN-EC Training (4-hour Masterclass and 2-hour refresher)
Protective Practices Certification
Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011 or HLTAID012)
