As a result of an impending maternity leave for a valued team member, they are looking to a appoint a Group Accounting and Reporting Manager for a period of 12 months, with the possibly of extending.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller you will take full ownership of the financial accounting and reporting function for the Group. You will manage a team of four and own the daily accounting routines, month-end closing, ASX-standard group financial reporting and subsidiaries’ audit and reporting deliverables. Other responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of Group Interim and Year-end financial report preparation and delivery to timetable.
• Manage group-wide Financial Statements preparations and audits’ support.
• Manage regular reviews and updates of Group accounting policies and process notes.
• Drive and support functional operating efficiency, via ongoing finance process improvement and ERP utilisation.
• Ownership of Group wide CAPEX end-to-end accounting and analysis (including capitalised development and other intangible assets).
• Review Forex related accounting, including FX revaluation and translation results each month-end.
• Work closely with treasury to monitor and report group-wide working capital.

Your Traits

You will be CA or CPA qualified and have sound financial accounting and reporting knowledge from either an ASX or multinational operating environment, with operations across multiple countries and currencies. Experience in preparation of financial statements and external audit would be highly valued. You will be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture with a team player approach as well as being comfortable to work independently when needed. In addition, you will have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities along with strong communication and presentation skills. Salary: Circa $145,000 - $150,000 + bonus
