We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, solutions-focused WHS Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for Work Health and Safety across both our labor-hire business and direct NDIS/Aged Care provider. You will be responsible for partnering with our Workers Compensation provider to manage our current workers compensation cases and developing return-to-work plans.

About the role

Specific aspects of this role will include:

· Lead and monitor WHS Audits and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

· Create action plans and implement recommendations to improve safety practices.

· Coordinate WHS activities across sites and develop effective WHS strategies.

· Investigate incidents, hazards, and unsafe working conditions nationally, and take proactive corrective action.

Provide regular reports and insights on WHS performance to senior management.

Conduct WHS risk assessments and ensure records are accurate and up to date.

Develop return-to-work plans for injured work Support Workers.

About You

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Diploma or Advanced diploma in occupational Health and Safety Occupational Health and Safety and have at least 2-5 years of experience in a similar role

Bring a proactive attitude and the knack for working seamlessly with stakeholders at all levels

Experience in using large CRM’s/HRIS systems

Be a WHS regulations guru with hands-on experience managing compliance—safety first, always!

Excellent communication skills to engage and train staff
