The Position

We are seeking to employ casual bus drivers to work for our small community school. The role involves either a morning or an afternoon shift, or the opportunity for both (split shift) driving a small 12-seater school-owned bus.

This is a regular role during term time.

Responsibilities

The bus driver is responsible for collecting the bus from the College (in the morning) and following a pre-determined run, collecting school children from around Logan, Bayside and occasionally Brisbane addresses and delivering them to school in Burbank. The afternoon run is similar, collecting the children from the school and delivering them home. Each shift is approximately - 3 hours.

We expect our bus drivers to be punctual, reliable and to enjoy working with children.

Sinai College is a child-safe organisation and hold all employees to the highest of standards. All are required to possess a positive Blue Card (Working with Children) and undertake ongoing professional development in the proactive prevention of harm to children.

Full training and orientation is provided

Qualifications, Licenses & experience

MR license or above

OR

Australian Drivers License (vehicle) + Authority to Transport (from the Department of Transport )

AND

Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
