About the Role… Your Opportunity to Lead:

As the energetic and passionate Store Manager of our Sportspower Norwood store, you'll lead your committed team to cultivate a vibrant, customer-driven culture in-store and work collaboratively to smash goals along the way! You'll be empowered to take charge of all store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment where both your team and our customers thrive. In this exciting role, you will:

Drive Outcomes and Results: Through your leadership, coaching the right skills and behaviours, and fostering self-reflection across the team, you'll break down challenges into achievable steps.

Analyse and Act: Review sales and stock reports, identify key performance drivers, and collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop and implement future action plans.

Empower Your Team Through Understanding: Coach your team to interpret reports and translate insights into actionable strategies to achieve targets and exceed expectations.

Lead with Accountability: Hold yourself and each team member accountable for individual and team results, fostering a culture of ownership.

Mentor and Grow Talent: Invest in your team's development by providing honest, generous, and empowering coaching, celebrating their strengths, and guiding them to address their development areas through hands-on opportunities.

Manage for Success: Effectively manage the team's workload, workflow, and time, ensuring efficient delivery through strong accountability and clear goal setting.

Inspire Passion and Pride: Lead and inspire the team to connect deeply with our brands, love what they do, and be proud of their contribution to the broader business strategy.

About You… What You'll Bring to the Team:

At least 2 years of management experience in a dynamic retail environment.

A genuine love and understanding for sport, fashion, and our diverse range of brands.

The proven ability to confidently lead, motivate, and engage a diverse team.

A demonstrated track record of successfully coaching and developing individuals and teams.

A proven history of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.

Sound knowledge and proven success in retail operations, including budget management, wage control, effective rostering, impactful visual merchandising, efficient stock management, and shrinkage control.
