About the Role

Sigma Therapies is seeking a passionate and skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner & Psychologist to join our growing team. This part-time, salaried position (1–2 days per week) is based out of Bibra Lake, WA 6163, but is primarily mobile and community-based, with work-from-home flexibility and full travel reimbursement.

You’ll work directly with NDIS participants across the Perth metro area, combining your expertise in psychology and behaviour support to create meaningful outcomes for individuals with complex needs. What You'll Be Doing

Delivering psychological therapy and behavioural support services to NDIS participants across varied age groups and presentations

Conducting comprehensive functional behaviour assessments to identify the underlying causes of behaviours of concern

Developing and implementing NDIS-compliant Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including strategies to reduce restrictive practices

Coaching and training families, caregivers and support workers to implement interventions confidently and consistently

Collaborating with support coordinators, allied health professionals, schools and disability services to ensure holistic, person-centred care

Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, behaviour support reports, and progress updates in line with best practice and NDIS standards

Participating in supervision, peer mentoring, and optional team development days

What We're Looking For

Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and registered as (or eligible to be) a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner – Proficient or above under the NDIS Commission

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams

Strong report writing skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently, manage a mobile caseload, and thrive in a flexible, self-directed environment

A current WA Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

Current (or willingness to obtain) WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
