Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining and repairing fuel terminal, port facility and mine-site infrastructure. The works will have a strong focus on fuel and hydrocarbon-related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment, including fuel and hydrocarbon storage systems.

Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

Carry out repairs and maintenance on pumps, valves and piping associated with fuel and hydrocarbon facilities.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations particularly in hazardous environments.

Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting essential.

Minimum of two years experience in a similar role within the fuel services sector.

Previous experience working with fuel and hydrocarbons including storage, transfer and maintenance of associated equipment.

Proficiency in operating and maintaining various tools and machinery.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to safety protocols and hazardous area regulations.
