Stevens Bulk Services is the supplier of specialised machinery to the bulk shipping industry.The Australian owned & operated family company was established in 1990 and operates nationwide.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to help build and maintain web applications that empower end users and managers within our organisation. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, working with a modern tech stack to deliver applications that are both efficient and easy to use. The ideal candidate will have experience working React, TypeScript, .NET Core, .NET Web API, and related technologies, and will enjoy building applications that directly improve user experiences. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins is required to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration.

Located in Sutherland NSW, this position will be instrumental into the uptime of the software and also be critical in making pivotal changes as and when needed to ensure all users are connected and deploy enhancements as and when the business changes.

Please note, this role requires to be onsite as the candidate will work closely with the Business & Operations Manager on a day to day basis and testing of software will need to be evaluated before deploying into production.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain intuitive, responsive front-end applications using React, Material UI, CSHTML, and jQuery.

Build and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using .NET Core, .NET MVC, .NET WEB API and C#.

Implement caching and optimize performance using Redis.

Write automated tests using Vitest and Jest to ensure quality and reliability of the application.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline deployment and maintain continuous integration practices.

Ensure secure access to the application by implementing JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for authentication and OAuth2 for authorization.

Collaborate closely with other developers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Use Git and GitHub for version control, following best practices for collaborative development.

Work with SQL databases to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Essential qualities for the role include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer (minimum three years) with expertise in React, Typescript, .NET Core, .NET MVC, and C#.

Strong experience with front-end development using CSHTML, jQUERY, Redux and Material UI.

Solid understanding of back-end development and API design.

Experience writing tests using Vitest and Jest.

Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control.

Experience with SQL for database management.

Must have Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification.

Strong experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with end users and managers.

Preferred Qualification / Experience:

Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.

Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of microservices architecture.

Knowledge of security best practices in web development.

Experience with Microsoft Teams integration for collaboration and communication within the team.
