Rio Tinto are expanding operation's in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

What you will be Doing

You will be working as a Field Assistant on an exploration mine site 320km East of Port Hedland. You will be responsible for core cutting/sampling, coordination of the sample despatch process, forklift/telehandler operation, data entry and assisting with water testing. You will be working a 2/2 day shift only roster. These roles are available to FIFO Perth candidates only.

What you will need

· Previous experience working as a Field Assistant on an exploration mine site.

· Ability to work in very hot and extremely remote environments

· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

· Forklift licence

· Current HR Drivers Licence

· Right to work in Australia
