About the role
Due to continued growth and a recent business acquisition in New South Wales an opportunity exists for a self-motivated, professional, and results-driven Sales Representative / Account Manager to join the team. Based ‘on the road’ and remote from home, you will be supported by a broader team (headquartered in Brisbane). Working autonomously, you will be responsible for finding and acquiring new business opportunities in New South Wales (or Australia wide) and managing existing and new relationships.
This role would suit an experienced sales consultant or a customer focused individual with an interest in freight and logistics seeking to grow their career, looking for flexibility and results based rewards. Part time or full time opportunity will be considered for the right candidate.
In addition to a base salary and vehicle allowance you will have the opportunity to build additional commission based income based on performance outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a long term interest in developing this role to generate future success and growth.
Role responsibilities include
- 20 hours per week flexible to your schedule (business hours)
- Find, retain and activate new customers via continual cold selling by phone or in person
- Chase warm, cold and any leads to convert into ongoing customers
- Ongoing management and control of CRM software
- Client meetings and visits ensuring our top quality service is provided
- Responsible for key sales KPIs and targets
About you
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-driven and proactive with the ability to work independently, setting and managing your day to day work activities
- Outstanding customer service and relationship building
- Valid drivers licence and access to own vehicle (car allowance provided)
- Confidence in door to door canvassing and creating those initial introductions
