We are a neighborhood post office located in Carlisle WA, less than 10 minutes drive from Perth city center. We have been serving locals for more than 20 years. We are offering a wide range of Australian post products and services. We are very customer service oriented and always helping our customers by offering suitable post office products to meet their needs. In our post office, we have a small and very friendly team. Your working hour will be around 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications & experience

1-2 years previous experiance working as a customer officer in one of the Australian post offices.

Cash handling experiance is essential.

You’re an individual who is able to work across a roster spanning Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturday mornings.

You have a background in customer service.

You can lift up to 16kg of mail repeatedly and able to stand for most of your shift.

You are a team player however also expected to be able to work independently by yourself.

Tasks & responsibilities

Performing customer sales and service transactions

Maintaining a cash advance accurately – which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS

Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities

Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs

Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
