We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Engineer. You will be providing engineering support, technical advice and guidance to the delivery team, delivering multiple scopes with the support of the Project Manager and Site Engineers, forecasting, planning, managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to a high standard and in line with project objectives.

We are interested in your previous site-based experience as a Project Engineer on other civil infrastructure projects, your attention to detail, your ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with your stakeholders, your solutions-orientated approach and your technical acumen.

You will be accountable for:

• Delivering key construction requirements in line with safety, quality, budget & time
• Managing self-performed & subcontract delivered works
• Reporting, planning, and forecasting
• Interface with the delivery team, Management, Stakeholders and Clients
• Value manage and contribute to improvements and innovations
• Providing technical advice, responses, and solutions
• Supporting the growth and development of your team

Minimum requirements for this role include:

• Significant site-based experience as Project Engineer
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant standards, specifications, and requirements
• Recognised relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
• Highly developed planning & problem-solving skills, including strong analytical & strategic thinking
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
• Capability to effectively communicate and engage internally and externally
• Exceptional organization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to complete projects with little direction or handholding
• Ability to switch gears and frequently reprioritize, as well as be a very flexible person
