About the Role
We are seeking a part time (up to 12-month fixed term contract – 46 hours per fortnight plus some Saturday shifts) Library Customer Support Officer to join our team, providing support to customer service operations at any of our two library branches, one depot and two kiosk locations. In this role, you will provide patient and professional assistance to library visitors, helping them find what they need, whether it’s a book, resource or assistance using technology.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide library services for the community that support lifelong learning, innovation, literacy, recreational and cultural information and connection.
Provide customers with a high level of customer service when accessing the library’s services.
Contribute to programs and sessions for those who seek an elevated learning experience through digital literacy support, creative programs for children, youth and adults and services that offer recreation, enrichment, support and connection.
To perform general resource circulation duties in a well organised manner that follows the library’s WHS and standard workplace policies and procedures.
