Position: Industrial Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, along with necessary repairs, to ensure the facility's electrical systems operate efficiently.
• Attending electrical breakdowns & faults
• Leading electrical projects & improvements
• Assist in meeting production targets and adhering to schedules by ensuring electrical systems are reliable and responsive.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and standards.
• Daily morning meetings with the maintenance team, Production Team Leaders, and operators to discuss workload, priorities, Labor, and plant availability.
• Toolbox meetings to discuss safety incidents, equipment damage, strategies to minimize breakdowns, and the impact of maintenance on Delivery in Full on Time (DIFOT) performance.

Background:

• Must have experience with PLCs, fault finding, and data cabling installation or repairs.
• Self-motivation and the ability to operate independently within a close-knit team.
• Previous exposure to the Industrial Manufacturing either within (FMCG) sector, Pharmaceutical, Energy or Packaging.
• Proven track record in identifying operational enhancements and successfully implementing them from conception to fruition.
• Prior engagement as the primary electrician at a manufacturing site, overseeing both production lines and standalone equipment.

Certifications:

• Queensland Electrical Licence
• EWP Licence
