About us

We are a wholesale business based at Newcastle Fruit and Vegetable Markets at Sandgate. We operate 7 days per week delivering to the Hospitality industry and homes within Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie

Our mornings kick off early (approx 4am) so we have the fresh produce to our restaurants before breakfast and all deliveries are completed by lunchtime

The successful applicant must be available to start work at 4am and be punctual plus reliable. (Penalty rates are paid before 7am)

Qualifications & experience

• Manual license
• Self motivated and work unsupervised
• Good knowledge of Fruit and Vegetables
• Good driving record

Tasks & responsibilities

• 4AM starting time
• Packing fruit and vegetable orders
• Delivering packed orders to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley
• Cash handling
• Good customer service skills and the ability to liaison with Hospitality and local community
• Approx 30-35 hours - could lead to permanent for the right person

Benefits

• Weekend work available with PENALTY RATES but will mostly be rostered on Monday - Friday 4am
