About the Role:

We are offering roles for casual and fulltime Boilermaker / Welders to join our team for projects in Perth and throughout WA. XRT Engineering employees have considerable opportunities for advancement and training to compliment existing skill sets. The successful applicant will join this young and dynamic Australian owned company, at a workshop located in Henderson.

Successful applicants will need to sit a prestart medical and have Rio Tinto essential inductions for upcoming FIFO shutdowns. Immediate availability would be an advantage. Required duties are listed below:

Receive job brief from Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor.

Must be able to interpret drawings and blueprints

Must have attention to detail.

Undertake welding to meet technical requirements

Report technical problems to Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor

Report safety issues to Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor

Participate in staff safety meetings

HSEQ involvement and adherence

Maintain high standard of housekeeping in workshop

Work as directed by Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor

Required Training/Qualifications:

Boilermaker Trade Cert/ Skills Assessment

Ability to pass a prestart medical

Drivers License

Construction Safety Awareness – White card

Rio Tinto Essential Inductions

Fire Extinguisher Training

Work at Heights

Prefferred Training/Qualifications:

First Aid Training

Water Corporation Inductions

Operate Overhead Crane

Dogman/ Rigger (HRWL)

EWP
