Senior Analyst | Sports & Media Analytics

📍 Sydney Location - Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH

What You’ll Do:

• Value sponsorships – Help brands understand the true worth of investing in sports.
  
  
• Analyse sporting event audiences – Uncover trends in viewership and media exposure.
  
  
• Cross-platform media valuations – Quantify brand exposure across TV, digital, and social.
  
  
• Turn data into insights – Not just the numbers, but the why behind them.
  
  
• Client reporting – Create visual, insight-driven reports (PowerPoint) with key takeaways.
  
  
• Lead larger scale analytics projects
  
  

What You Bring:

You will need to be able to demonstrate your experience across these key areas.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytics role
  
  
• Passion for sports is an absolute must – You don’t need industry experience, but you need to have a thorough understanding of the sporting landscape and genuinely love the game!
  
  
• Excellent quantitative skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  
  
• SQL, R, Python, or SPSS experience essential
  
  
• Ability to manage, analyse and interpret complex datasets with high efficiency
  
  
• Detail-oriented & analytical mind-set
  
  
• Project management & time management skills - responsibility for end-end project management and delivery against client timelines.
  
  
• Creative & flexible approach to data storytelling
