About the Role
As the Assistant Design Manager, you will work closely with the project and design teams to coordinate and manage front-end design processes across multiple residential projects. You will gain hands-on experience in design management, working with consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the design process across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare Development Approvals (DA), Construction Certificates (CC) and Complying Development Certificate (CDC).
• Support the team in resolving design-related challenges.
• Maintain project timelines and assist in design approvals.
• Contribute to value engineering and innovative design solutions.

About You

• A degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an architecture or construction-related role.
• Proven experience working on multi-residential (class 2) projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and design documentation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant design and project management software.
