About the role

We are seeking an experienced Offset Printer to join the talented team at EZ Print' in Pakenham, VIC. As an Offset Printer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials for our diverse range of clients. This full-time role is an integral part of our printing services, allowing you to contribute directly to the success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain offset printing presses to produce a wide variety of printed materials, including brochures, magazines, catalogues and stationery

Heidelberg SM 74 6 Colour machine, Heidelberg SM 74 8 colour machine, Heidelberg SM 52 5 colour machine, Komori L528 5 colour machine.

Perform colour adjustments, ink mixing and other pre-press activities to ensure consistent, high-quality output

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with printing equipment to minimise downtime

Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards

Collaborate with the broader production team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client projects

Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest printing technologies and techniques

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Printing or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience

Proven track record of operating and maintaining offset printing presses, with a strong understanding of colour management and pre-press processes

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision to produce consistent, high-quality output

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with printing equipment

Effective communication skills to liaise with the broader production team and client stakeholders

A commitment to safety and quality control in the printing environment
