About the role

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Demolition Labourer to join our team at Rowan Leen Demolition and Asbestos in Geelong, starting as a 3 month probation period as casual, leading to fulltime employment if found to be a suitable fit for our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our demolition and asbestos removal projects. Pay rate negotiable and based on industry experience, work ethic and reliability.

Must have Demolition or asbestos removal industry experience, with current white card, drivers licence and asbestos removal ticket is preferred but not essential

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the safe and efficient demolition of buildings and structures
• Carrying out manual labour tasks such as debris removal, asbestos removal, internal strip outs, jack hammering, sorting materials onsite etc
• Operating hand tools and small equipment as required for demolition work
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Supporting the demolition and asbestos removal team as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a demolition labourer or asbestos Removalist
• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demanding nature of the work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude
• Relevant construction or demolition industry certifications an advantage
