Diplomatik has currently an exciting opportunity for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to work within the Marine Industry! Our client is a reputable company in Henderson who specialises in manufacturing mechanical components, with expertise in heavy engineering, precision engineering, defence, in-service support, and rail.

For their Marine division based in Henderson, you have the opportunity to work on both Defence and commercial projects, both in the workshop as onsite. You don't require Marine experience but you do need to bring a willingness to learn and have a great attitude.

Hours of Work: 6.30am – 3pm (38 hours per week) with overtime available when required.

Duties Include:

• Working on both Defence and commercial projects, workshop & site-based work
• Working on ships/vessels
• Wiring cable trays
• Reading electrical drawings
• Testing & tagging
• Troubleshooting & fault finding

Essential Qualifications/Requirement:

• A Grade Electrical Licence
• Confined space certification
• Working at heights certification
• National Police Clearance
• Eligibility for an Australian Defence Security Clearance
• Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident and reside South of the River
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

Desirable Qualifications:

• Forklift license
• Dogging certification
