ESI-Alphatec pride ourselves on a collaborative work environment and delivering exceptional results to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Storeman to join our team at our workshop facility.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tool & Warehousing Controller to manage inventory, store supplies, and maintain stock levels for our workshop. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop by keeping materials, plant, equipment and tools serviced, well-organized and readily available.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining tools, plant and equipment either directly or through 3rd party suppliers as applicable
Maintain and stock various tooling containers
Tool, Plant & Equipment Management, servicing, calibrations & record keeping
Loadout of project materials, plant, equipment and tooling.
Ongoing management and coordination of tooling and equipment by location using our asset management system
Responsible for the Stores and workshop spaces
Receive and process of all Supplier Goods
Receive all deliveries, pick & fill orders and check the goods for quality and compliance
Support accounts dept with internal and external credits
Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, discrepancies and back orders.
The management of the Materials, Tooling, Plant & Equipment Catalogue
Stock take of Materials & Plant & Equipment and routine inventory counts and reporting.
Assist or directly conduct new materials risk assessment
Maintain SDS registers
Ensure compliance with the management and storage of flammable, gasses and DG’s
Ensure the store is clean and organized.
Unloading and loading of tooling containers and general freight
Delivery of goods to customers
Assist with other store administrative & maintenance tasks as directed by the Manager
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, preferably within a workshop or industrial environment.
Knowledge of tool store equipment and operation requirements
Strong safety focus with an ability and desire to promote, influence and drive a positive safety culture and familiar with workplace health and safety practices
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
HRW Forklift license and C Class Manual Driver’s License mandatory whilst HR would be an advantage
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
