We are currently seeking reliable and dedicated workers to join our fast-paced poultry processing facility in Thomastown. These roles require flexibility as you will be required to work in both Chicken Hanging and Evisceration departments, handling live poultry and processed products.

These positions are physically demanding and require a high level of stamina. Successful candidates must have a meticulous approach to maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Pay rate starting from $38.05.

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 7:30 am – 1:00 pm + OT where required
• Night Shift: 11:00 pm – 5:00 am + OT where required

What you will be doing:

• Chicken Hanging: Securely hang live chickens onto the processing line, handle poultry humanely, maintain an efficient workflow, and assist with cleaning tasks.
• Evisceration: Handle poultry offal and waste, perform precise evisceration tasks, remove internal organs, inspect for contamination, and ensure cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in poultry, meat processing, or similar food manufacturing industries is highly regarded.
• You must provide valid references from your most recent employer (Last 6 months)
• Full and unrestricted work rights in Australia are required (sponsorship not available).
• Physically fit to handle repetitive tasks, prolonged standing, and moderate lifting.
• Comfortable with direct contact involving live animals, offal, waste products, and varying temperatures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including potential overtime.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring tasks meet stringent quality and hygiene standards.
