Our Client is a Steel distributor and Engineering company based in Smithfield.

They are currently seeking packaging staff and machine operators assistants for Day shift 6-2pm

DAY SHIFT 6-2pm ($40 per hour)

Duties include but not limited;

• Reposition steel on plasma machine
• load and unload steel, plasma and laser beds
• organise pallets, skids etc.
• check identification marks against work orders
• weighing materials
• pack finished products
• read codes and labels
• assist in stocktakes
• goods receipting
• completion of con notes and run sheets

The successful candidate will have;

• Have worked in a similar role within the Metal / Manufacturing Industry
• Overhead Crane experience preferred not essential
• Own transport due to location

This is a temp to perm role and you will be required to work overtime at times. Would suit a team player with a great work ethic and stable work history.

PLEASE NOTE THE PERMANENT RATE IS $32 PER HOUR
