We are a very warm, welcoming and busy family with two children aged 1 and 4 years old. We prioritise our children's wellbeing, development, and safety, and we highly value kindness and creativity. As a Nanny, you will be responsible for providing exceptional childcare to help us create nurturing and loving surroundings for our children while maintaining an efficient home environment with some light personal assistant tasks.

About the Role
We are seeking a full time, live out nanny to support our Broadbeach Waters based family. Need to be available early mornings with hours of work approximately between 6-9am and 2-6pm (Mon-Thurs) and 7-4pm on Fridays. Hours may change per week, so flexibility is a must. Occasional overnight stays and weekend availability may be required and ability to travel with the family, if needed.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

• Provide attentive and loving care for a 1 and an almost 5 year old, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children plus packing school lunches
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (e.g. arts and crafts, outdoor play and educational games)
• Assist with homework and school projects
• School and daycare drop offs several days a week when parents are unable to (car provided)
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe environment at all times
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development
• Communicate effectively with parents about the children's needs and daily activities

Other Duties:

• Grocery shopping
• Walking the dog
• Light housekeeping duties (e.g. dishes, laundry, tidying common areas, organising draws etc)
• Running of small errands

What we're looking for

• The children's SAFETY is the most important part of the job description
• A positive and energetic attitude with a genuine love for children
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail paramount
• Character references
• A valid driver's license
• Current First Aid, CPR certification and WWCC
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to follow instructions
• Proven ability to work independently, be adaptable, and problem-solve effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to multitask and manage household duties efficiently
• Non-smoker and pet friendly
