Why our Graduate Program
The City of Onkaparinga is offering a program that provides Graduates hands on experience, professional development and fast tracks knowledge and network building.
- Graduate support and wellbeing: Each graduate will be connected with a mentor and buddy system. We will create opportunities for our Graduates to get together, share their experiences and support each other on this journey. As employees, all Graduates can access our wellbeing program offerings including free health checks, and access to confidential counselling and mental health support.
- Graduate Development: A comprehensive development plan has been designed to support graduates as they transition from campus to corporate. This program offers a balanced mix of online and face-to-face learning opportunities, tailored to build essential skills and confidence in the workplace.
- Financial Services team: Our Financial Services team incorporates Financial Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Revenue and Procurement functions. We provide corporate services to a large, diverse organisation which creates interesting and varied work, and opportunities to build relationships and collaborate with others on continuous improvement initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:
- You hold valid work rights for the duration of the program on application
- You have completed at least an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 qualification (a Bachelor's degree) within the last two years relevant to the role
- You are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
How to apply:
- Experience in the collection, analysis and presentation of data
- Demonstrated use of databases and accounting software to input, review and extract data
- Strong organisation and time management skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in an open and collaborative environment with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver work.
