Logix Engineering Pty Ltd is a wholly owned Australian company in Brisbane that specialises in designing, manufacturing, and supplying Electrical and ITS products for the infrastructure industry. Due to a significant increase in work, we require a skilled Electrical design technician to commence work in our Sumner Park factory.

About the role

We seek an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Design Technician in Greater Brisbane. This role involves assisting with the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and project specifications. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Electrical engineer in preparing technical documentation, including design specifications, wiring diagrams, and operation manuals, to support the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.

Duties & responsibilities:

· Ability to design and test electrical systems.

· Ability to work independently and take direction from electrical engineers, supervisors, and team leaders as required.

· Work closely with the manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure that the electrical designs are feasible and can be efficiently produced. This includes testing prototypes and modifying designs based on feedback from the production team.

· Ensure designs and final products are meeting the specifications, and compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.

· Maintain project timelines and communicate effectively within the team.

· Assist in maintaining the company’s systems and adhering to the workplace safety standards.

Experience & Qualification:

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or electrical technician roles

· Experience in detailed technical drawings, CAD models, and wiring diagrams for the electrical systems preferably

· Knowledge of electrical and data communications enclosures and wiring is highly regarded.

· Having a diploma/advanced diploma in electrical engineering or a similar qualification

· A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Be self-motivated and responsible and can work within a fast-paced, multicultural team environment.

· Have high attention to detail and accuracy, good communication and problem-solving skills.

What we offer:

· Full-time position, working 38 hours per week with a salary between 75,000 -80,000, depending on the experience, plus superannuation.
