Casual Fresh Flower Handler – With Potential for Permanent Role

Are you passionate about flowers and looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced, supportive environment? We’re looking for a Fresh Flower Handler to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

About the Role:

As a Fresh Flower Handler, you’ll play an essential part in our daily operations, working alongside our in-house team of florists. This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment. Your tasks will include:

• Unpacking, labelling, and restocking our market
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked workstation
• Processing flowers down a belt with support from our florists
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Booking freight and ensuring timely dispatch
• Serving customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Completing stock takes

What We’re Looking For:

We want hardworking, goal-driven individuals who are eager to be part of a close-knit, family-oriented team that loves what they do. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• A positive attitude and a team-first mindset
• A willingness to learn and grow within the business
• Basic IT skills (desired) for tasks such as booking freight and managing stock

Hours & Availability:

• Monday to Friday with some Sunday shifts available
• Start times vary between 6 AM – 9 AM, depending on workload
• Casual position with the potential to go permanent
