The Opportunity

Partnered with our host Statewide Bearings, we are looking for an Accounts Trainee eager to learn and gain experience in a mechanical engineering environment. This role offers the opportunity to complete a FNS30122 Certificate III in Financial Services, followed by BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business (Finance).

This position is full-time, and based in Kewdale, Perth.

The ideal candidate will have prior work experience, but it is not a requirement.

Over the 12-month traineeship, you will receive ongoing mentoring and support, gaining practical experience while completing relevant theoretical coursework.

Your duties will include:

• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounts receivable.
• Accurately calculate, record, and process financial data.
• Proactively contact customers via phone or email to follow up on outstanding payments.
• Facilitate the opening of new customer accounts.
• Process and evaluate credit applications in accordance with company policies.
• Effectively manage overdue customer accounts and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee the end-to-end processing of customer accounts to ensure smooth operations.

• You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Must possess a valid Driver's License to perform required duties
• Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol, and Police Check
