Master Butchers Co-Operative Ltd is a diverse business with three locations and over 135 employees.

MBL Proteins is a division of Master Butchers Co-operative LTD and operates recycling plants across three sites in South Australia. MBL Proteins takes organic by product material (such as offal) from the meat, poultry and seafood industries and process it into tallow and meat meal.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking for self-motivated Factory Hands to join the MBL Proteins operations team located in Keith, South Australia.

About the role:

• Comfortable to operate production lines that process raw poultry, goat, beef, etc. offal.
• Fast paced, multi shift rendering plant, with possibility overtime and Saturdays work
• Operating equipment and machinery
• Monitor raw materials delivery
• Competent to complete paperwork
• Other relevant duties as required

The right person for the role:

• Ability to work with raw material that produces strong smells.
• Experience in the meat or poultry manufacturing industry.
• Mechanical & maintenance experience would be an advantage
• Focus on safe working environment
• Forklift license preferred
• Boiler ticket and HC driver licence would be an advantage
• Must have driver’s licence and own transport
• Australian work rights
