About the role

Cassaform Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and organised Yard Coordinator to join our team in Brendale, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the efficient management of our warehousing and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating the movement and storage of materials, equipment, and products in the yard
• loading and unloading of trucks with forklift
• Process returns as well as picking and packing orders
• Overseeing the safe loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying any discrepancies
• Liaising with truck drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and collections
• Optimising yard layout and traffic flow to maximise efficiency
• Supervising and training yard staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Addressing any issues or concerns that arise in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Yard Coordinator or similar role in a warehousing or logistics environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in using inventory management systems and other relevant software
• Forklift license and experience operating material handling equipment
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
