MC Driver - Toowoomba

The Role:
Toll People are looking for experienced A-Double MC Drivers based in either Toowoomba or Brisbane working on day shifts. Initially you will be employed on a casual basis with moving to Full Time employment after your probationary period. All Drivers are paid a competitive hourly rate of $42.80+ per hour with penalty rates.

This role will involve a variety of different tasks including but not limited to rig deliveries, side loader, water cart and general freight. Oil & Gas experience is desirable but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load restraint knowledge
• Daily Prestart checks of Prime Mover & Trailing Equipment.
• Driver Administration - POD's, Daily Run Sheets & ensuring you collect all the critical documents.
• Complying with Toll coupling & uncoupling procedures.
• Adhering to the policies, procedures & expectations as set out by Toll.
• Adhering to all Company & Customer OH&S legislative requirements.
• Ensuring your prime mover is clean and presentable on a daily basis

Skills & Experience:

• Current MC Licence
• Must hold experience in driving Road Rangers
• Experience in oil & gas desirable
• Positive attitude and good customer service skills
• High safety initiative
• Knowledge of the fatigue legislation and all safety facets surrounding the transport industry
• Safe driving history
