About the Role
Blue Tree Project’s full-time Events Manager plays a pivotal role in designing, planning, and executing impactful events that raise awareness and funds to support our initiatives. This role involves developing event strategies, managing logistics, and coordinating volunteers to ensure the successful delivery of fundraising and awareness campaigns. The Events Manager will oversee all aspects of event execution, from concept to completion. They will have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & execute an annual event strategy aligned with Blue Tree Project’s mission & goals.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee fundraising, awareness, and community engagement events.
- Manage event timelines, venues, permits, risk assessments, and supplier relationships.
- Oversee budgeting, ensuring events are cost-effective and financially sustainable.
- Lead event-day operations, management of volunteers and logistics.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support event delivery.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to drive event awareness through social media, PR, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop innovative fundraising strategies to enhance donor engagement and contributions.
- Track event success through attendance, engagement, and fundraising metrics.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and the executive team.
About You
- Passionate about mental health awareness and community-driven initiatives.
- Experience in event management, fundraising, or project coordination.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Experience in budget management, sponsorship development, and risk management.
