At Territory Water Solutions (Barkly Plumbing Services), we have been a trusted name in the Tennant Creek, Barkly, and Roper Gulf regions for over 20 years. Our business is built on a diverse portfolio of projects and services in plumbing, drainage, and gas across the residential, commercial and maintenance sectors. We cover all areas of the Barkly and Roper Gulf regions of the Northern Territory and are committed to delivering quality work on time, in some of the most remote locations.

We are seeking a driven and experienced Team Leader/Supervisor to take the reins of our growing team in Tennant Creek. If you are a hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen, a passion for delivering quality work, and a proven track record in managing teams, we want to hear from you!

What You will Be Doing:

• Leadership & Team Management: Inspire, mentor, and guide the team to deliver outstanding results while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Supervise a team of around 10 employees as requested by the Operations Manager.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee a diverse range of projects, from plumbing and drainage to large-scale water systems. Ensure jobs are executed on time and to the highest quality standards, while managing workflows and adhering to QSE protocols. Check daily jobs of the team, ensuring they are completed and reported appropriately. Report any issues to the Operations Manager.
• Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring seamless communication and high-quality service delivery. Address concerns promptly, collaborating with the Project Coordinator or Operations Manager when necessary.
• Time Management & Supervision: Manage your day effectively to allow for adequate supervision times and working time
• Quoting & Invoicing: Prepare quotes and invoices as requested.

What We’re Looking For:

• Cert IV in Plumbing
• Manual driver’s license
• White Card
• Strong WHS knowledge
• Police Clearance
• Ability to get an Ochre Card

• Experience & Leadership: A Cert IV Qualified Plumber ideally with 3+ years of hands-on experience, including operational planning and team leadership.
• Commercial Thinking: Strong understanding of business operations, with the ability to drive efficiency and deliver projects within budget and timeline.
• Work Ethic & Reliability: We value enthusiasm, consistency, and a strong work ethic. You must be dependable, with a passion for quality and customer satisfaction.
• Team Player: Experience coaching and resolving conflicts within teams, with a collaborative approach to leadership.
• Essential Qualifications:

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in remote locations and managing customer relationships in challenging environments.
• First aid certification, safety management, quality assurance, and leadership qualifications.
• Familiarity with SimPRO software is a plus.
