Job Description:

As a Painter at AJ Cochrane & Sons, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality painting services to our clients. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and efficiency. We value craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Painting: Apply paint, varnishes, stains, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Tool Operation: Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other tools to ensure smooth, even coverage.
• Quality Control: Ensure the final product meets the desired finish and meets company standards.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Client Communication: Interact with clients professionally to ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter (minimum 4 years).
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation.
• Familiarity with a variety of paints, finishes, and coatings.
• Ability to operate and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• High attention to detail and precision.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Full Certification is required
