About the role

We are seeking a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our friendly, motivated team. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and managing the day-to-day operations of our busy automotive repair workshop.

What you'll be doing

• Liaising with customers to understand their vehicle repair requirements and provide professional advice
• Coordinating the workshop schedule and allocating jobs to technicians efficiently
• Maintaining detailed records of all vehicle repair work, including parts used and labour costs
• Providing customers with accurate estimates and quotes for repairs
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by keeping clients informed throughout the repair process
• Identifying any additional work required and presenting options to customers

What we're looking for

• Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively
• Proficient in using automotive repair management software, training will be provided
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of vehicles
