Rigger

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Rigger in the Perth Metro area. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable construction company specialising in structural steel erection and installation of steel columns.

About the role:
We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Riggers who can work confidently with steel structures on busy commercial sites across Perth. This role will involve rigging steel, directing cranes, and working closely with site teams to ensure smooth and efficient installations. You will be required to read and interpret structural plans and lift studies, and work hands-on with the crew to get the job done right.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience rigging steel and erecting structural steel frames and columns
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and lift plans
• Strong communication skills to effectively direct cranes and work with site crews
• Excellent safety awareness and ability to work under pressure
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team

• Valid Dogman Ticket (HRWL - DG)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Reference contact details of two past employers
• Already based in Perth, WA
• Full Australian working rights
• Reliable transport and PPE
